Misleading Newspapers !!

Most of us read the Newspapers (I have stopped long back) and check the Forecast columns to see what is in store for me this week. Is this Right? I for one was baffled when I saw in the newspaper that I am a Cancerian born, when actually My Sun in my own birth Chart is placed in Gemini. I am born on 28th June. In the newspapers its written for Those born between 20th May and 20th June as Gemini borne while Between 21st June to 21st July as Cancerian borne. Now what is this paradox ? No one was there to answer me. When I started learning astrology the answers started coming in. This is actually western astrology, what they mention in the newspapers. When we Minus the Ayanamsha ( Technical term) then the same Sun Sign changes to Gemini, which 99.99% of the readers do not Know and keep on reading what is not connected to them. If only they take pains to check their Birth Charts and notice their Sun sign ,would they realise.

Another thing- The Sun Sign or Moon sign do not solitarily create all the characteristics present in a Person. The Ascendant (The Sign rising on the Eastern horizon at the time of Birth, from the Birth place) has a major part to play too in the Nature Persona- of the person. After realising that My Sun Sign is Gemini, I used to search for all traits of Geminians in all my actions small or big. Then I got another shock (Though a pleasant shock) after Learning some more, that I had actually major characteristics Of Leo in me, Because my Birth Ascendant or lagna was Leo and so was my Navamsha Lagna. What is Lagna actually ? Lagna is also a word we hear at the time of Marriage between a Man and a Women, in other words a Union of the two souls, both on Physical and on Spiritual Plane given the stamp or signature of Nature as witness, along with the 5 elements.
